ctrip.com’s website is a scam; I tried to book a hotel room for 2 July – 3 July and after searching it changes the dates to 5 July – 6 July and after paying by credit card, I realised the dates were changed.

I then call up the Ctrip and tell them that the correct dates are 2 July – 3 July, they then tell me to make another transaction; when I made the booking, I realised that the dates are changed in the search step and I had to manually edit the dates again after searching. They mentioned that they would refund the first booking.

The credit card statement shows that both bookings were charged and I call them up 2 months later and they tell me that they have no record of the first booking being billed at all.

Ctrip are useless and I don’t recommend anyone to use them.
