I just spent 2 hours on WIX and can conclude that it is crap.
Why?
It forces you to use SSL and there is no way to turn it off so if you don’t use them to manage the DNS then you are stuffed! The issue for most developers is that we have our own DNS management system and do not want to use WIX’s.
Secondly, there is no way for the developer to install their own SSL certificates.
So until WIX stops this practise then I will not even entertain looking further into their platform.
